The Bible is Unlike Any Other Book Ever Written

Graham: Why do you quote the Bible so much? I'm sure there are a lot of good things in it, but the people who wrote it lived in a much different world from ...The Bible is unlike any other book ever written

Before the Foundation of the World

God knew us before the foundation of the world. It makes me think of God who was here from the very beginning. Read More...

Till I Come

Rev. 2:25
But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

John 21:20 Then Peter, turning about seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and saith Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? (21) Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

John 21:22
Jesus said unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

The Wheat and the Tares

They say that one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. I agree with this old sayings. There are some good ones in the bunch that are spoiled because of trials and tribulations. The good ones become tired and weak. When you try to do what's right, sometimes things are so difficult that nothing is right no matter what you do. You try in fear. There is so much confusion. However, I can hear God saying, "Don't give up. Keep going. Do it for me." Sometimes things are not our fault. The more you try to explain, the more difficult it can become. There are times you shouldn't speak. Then if you don't open your mouth, you could be in trouble. You sometimes blame yourself and think, "Lord, what have I done?" I can hear the Lord saying, "It's not what you have done." I get so furstrated and so angry that I feel that I am doing wrong too. People blame you and point fingers and try to set traps for you like the Pharisees did Jesus. So if you are going through these things, and if Jesus went through the same thing, then maybe you're on the right track. Then sometimes God tells us to rest and let things go. Never think that God isnot there.

I can understand the parable of Jesus about the wheat and the tares. (Matthew 13:28) He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? (29) But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. (30) Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: and gather the wheat into my barn.

You see, God knows what he is doing. Now, ask yourself in hard times: What would Jesus do?
